“50 shades of gray” in Polish: the network is going crazy for the erotic thriller “365 days”

The Hollywood film Fifty Shades of Grey, which made a lot of noise, has a serious competitor – the picture of the Polish director Barbara Bialovas 365 Days. Just two days after its debut on Netflix on June 7, this erotic drama has become the most watched erotic drama ever.
The film, which was based on an erotic novel by the writer Blanka Lipinski, became a real hit in her homeland in Poland after the February premiere. The main roles in the film were played by 28-year-old Polish actress Anna Maria Siklutska and 29-year-old Italian actor Michel Morrone.
A young Polish woman, Laura, comes to Italy with her friends and her boyfriend, with whom she is trying to give new life to a relationship. Here she meets Sicilian mafia member Massimo, who becomes so obsessed with the girl that he kidnaps her and keeps her in custody. The man gives Laura 365 days to fall in love with him, if this does not happen, then he will allow the girl to return to her native Poland, where she was so unhappy in her personal life.

The large number of sex scenes in the film aroused such curiosity among the public that TikTok even launched a challenge in which, under the hashtag #365Days, users are invited to post a video of how they watch this film and react to sex scenes. Such activity on the popular social network greatly contributed to the popularity of the film.
The most talked about sex scene in the film was a four-minute episode on board the yacht, which includes scenes of oral sex and sex in various positions.
But not everyone hastened to sign up as a fan of the film: the film has already been criticized, and not because of the large number of explicit scenes – the film was accused of romanticizing the Stockholm syndrome and toxic relationships in general. Many believe that love stories based on kidnapping and forced sex cannot be justified.
