For example, a red evening dress from Zuhair Murad, in which the actress appeared at the Deauville festival in 2018, and a black dress with gold embroidery from Yanina Couture, in which Kate shone at the Producers Guild Awards in 2019.
The actress willingly wears dresses with bare shoulders, clearly inspired by the style of Hollywood glamour. The image of Anita Ekberg in Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, which was released in 1960, has become a real symbol of evening fashion. In addition to classic black fabrics, Beckinsale also has a liking for another time-tested material – a shiny llama.

The actress regularly goes to the gym – she sometimes shares photos from training with her followers on Instagram – and therefore the celebrity is in no hurry to hide her figure behind layers of fabrics. Another favorite style of Kate is tight midi or maxi dresses. And in this case, the actress almost always demonstrates an enviable sense of proportion. As a rule, she chooses plain outfits without excessive decorative trim – and rightly so, because the main thing that should attract attention is her thin camp.
One of the most spectacular in this category is the white dress from Solace London, in which Beckinsale appeared at the opening of Palisades Village last year: a laconic cut, emphasis on the neckline and nothing more – a recipe for elegance proven by the actress.

However, it’s not worth writing down Kate as modest – this woman knows how to piss off conservatives and victims of stereotypes that at a certain age it’s time to throw out some outfits from the closet or give them to younger sisters and nieces.
Beckinsale can dim the attention of the "fashion morality police" with an ordinary black sheath dress, and then shine with a real firebird! As, for example, it was with a colorful dress from Julien Macdonald, which reminded many more of a swimsuit with a pareo than an evening dress. In such an attention-grabbing image, the actress appeared at the GQ magazine ceremony in 2018.
The style of this brand, by the way, is very close to the actress. Outfits from 48-year-old designer Julien McDonald Kate chooses quite often. So, another spectacular exit in an outfit that obviously took a little fabric was the appearance at the NAACP Image Awards 2019.
However, this outfit also has some drawback: a lot of small lines that form ornaments create the effect of a fragmented silhouette without noticeable accents, although the proportions are somewhat saved by stuffed shoulders.

Kate is clearly a fan of lightweight fabrics – and it’s not just translucent chiffon or tulle. One of the actress’ favorite materials seems to be silk. For everyday looks, the actress chooses pajama-style suits, loose-fitting trousers, and for more elegant outings, tops with an American armhole and a contrasting stand-up collar.
You can also pay attention to the combination of such sets with classic coats – the contrast of textures always works well, and such images can be easily repeated without being a star.

Another bold fashion statement by Beckinsale that rebuffs all age stereotypes is her love of mini dresses! It is no secret that many people think that such a style is the lot of only young girls, and at the age of 35 it is better to get rid of such things in the wardrobe.
Kate boldly rushes into battle with these stereotypes, and, frankly, many young girls still have a lot to learn from her! The actress proves that even such a familiar style is a huge field for experimentation.
Beckinsale chooses dresses with some memorable details: for example, a one-shoulder cut, flounces or contrasting inserts. Obviously, the actress (like her stylists) is also closely following the current trends. So, the decoration of one of the dresses was a bright neon shade, and a BDSM-style ring on the chest became a piquant detail.
