Amal Clooney speaks at media freedom conference in London

Amal Clooney, 41, interrupted her Italian vacation and returned to work. A few days ago, she flew to London to attend the Global Press Freedom Conference. At the event, speakers from different countries shared their experiences and suggestions on the topic. The wife of George Clooney also delivered a speech at the conference.
Amal appeared in public today in a snow-white jumpsuit, which she complemented with a thin black belt at the waist and suede gray pumps. First, the human rights activist read out a report and made her proposals, and then other participants of the conference also rose to the stage and began to exchange experiences with Clooney.

The day before, Amal also made a presentation at the conference. Then the lawyer went up on stage in a set of scarlet clothes: she was wearing a fitted dress just below the knee and a Zac Posen cropped jacket.
Interestingly, in the light of Amal Clooney’s speeches at the conference, information surfaced in the press that in 2013 she advised journalist and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on how to avoid arrest in the UK. From the documents that fell into the hands of journalists, it follows that Amal advised Assange to ask the Ecuadorian government for a diplomatic post in order to obtain diplomatic immunity. Clooney was convinced that such a ploy would help Julian to safely leave the UK.
Now the world media are discussing that the information that surfaced during the conference could upset British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who in April of this year appointed her special envoy for media freedom.
