Celebrity street style: Julia Roberts appeared in public in a mask with a portrait of Barack Obama
Restrictive measures caused by the coronavirus pandemic are gradually easing in different countries of the world. To the delight of the paparazzi, celebrities began to leave the house more often. Yesterday, 52-year-old Julia Roberts got into reporters’ chronicles.
The actress went shopping at the Malibu Country Mart and for the first time in public, chose the most trendy accessory of the new time – a custom mask.
However, for Julia this is clearly not only a tribute to fashion, but also an opportunity to demonstrate her political views, because the mask is decorated with a portrait of former US President Barack Obama.
Roberts was among Obama’s supporters during his election campaigns and maintains a good relationship with the former president’s family today.
Last December, she attended a high school in Vietnam’s Long An province with former First Lady Michelle Obama and Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush.

Like many Hollywood stars, Roberts condemns the policies of the current US President Donald Trump: in 2016, she supported his electoral rival Hillary Clinton.
The actress seems to have taken the pandemic seriously: she refrained from appearing in public, spending time at home watching TV shows (for example, Julia recently shared with subscribers a recommendation to watch the new season of the series Homecoming).
In addition, Roberts posted on her blog facts about the coronavirus, as well as tips on how to stay cheerful in self-isolation.
