A few hours ago, the network has a new trailer for the film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood "The Old Guard" (The Old Guard) with Charlize Theron in the title role.
The film, shot in the fantasy action genre, tells about a group of warriors from different eras who have been fighting evil for many centuries, saving humanity from it. Its plot was based on the comic book of the same name by American screenwriter Greg Hands, released in 2017.
From the first moment I read Greg Rookie’s comic, I knew there was huge potential to make it really, really relevant and raise some real questions about humanity. Is what we do enough? Does what we do really make a difference? Are we making the world better or worse?
– Charlize told about the film in an interview with Vanity Fair. In addition to Theron, Kiki Lane, Mattias Schoenaerts, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Harry Melling and others also starred in the film. The film will premiere on July 10.
