A teaser for the film "We" based on the dystopia by Yevgeny Zamyatin has been released
The first teaser of the fantastic film “We”, based on the classic novel of the same name by Yevgeny Zamyatin in 1920, has appeared on the network.
“We” is a dystopia that tells about the world of the future and a totalitarian state in which there is no place for individuality: people have numbers instead of names, and all spheres of life, including the intimate one, are subject to strict regulations.
After the Great War, which led to the disappearance of almost the entire population of the planet, 200 years have passed. The remnants of humanity live in a perfect United State. Despite the authoritarian system, where each resident has his own serial number, uniform, glass houses and scheduled sex, happiness and harmony reign in society. Engineer D-503 considers such a life to be ideal and sings of it, putting all his knowledge and talent into building a super-powerful spaceship. A chance meeting with a female I-330 completely changes D-503’s view of himself – and the world around him.
Yegor Koreshkov, Elena Podkaminskaya, Philip Yankovsky, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Maryana Spivak and many other stars starred in the film, and Hamlet Dulyan became the director, in whose filmography there was only one full-length film (“The Meaning of Life”).
The series "Chiki" breaks records in popularity
The Chiki series about four friends who decided to quit prostitution and open a fitness club has become the most discussed and popular project on Runet. Firstly, it showed the best start in the history of the more.tv video service, and secondly, it topped the top of the most popular projects on demand on Kinopoisk and the independent Filmpro rating for the popularity of series on the Internet.
No wonder: since the premiere on June 4, both critics and viewers have recognized the original series of Eduard Oganesyan in love. A captivating plot that combines gags and drama, bright and bold dialogues, freshness and sharpness of the topics raised, honesty of the story and a brilliant cast – the series is already being called the best project of the year.
In the center of the plot are friends working "on the track" in a small southern town. One of them managed to escape to Moscow, from where she returns to her native places in a red "mini-cooper" and with a business plan: to open her own fitness club. One by one, her friends join her, but the path to a new life, of course, will not be easy. All this against the backdrop of dusty summer streets, bursting watermelons, roadside kebabs, sleepy flies and the sun flooding like the sea: “southern gothic” in all its glory.
The main roles were played by Irina Gorbacheva, Varvara Shmykova, Irina Nosova and Alena Mikhailova, the bright part – the district police officer – went to the Instagram star Anton Lapenko.

The trailer for the final season of the series "Darkness" has been released
Streaming service Netflix has released the trailer for the third and final season of the German time travel series Dark.
In the small town of Winden, children disappear once every 33 years – a story that spans several generations and is associated with time travel. The action develops in three time layers and tells either about the events of the beginning of the 20th century or about the post-apocalyptic future.
The plot of the third season is still unknown, it is expected that the heroes will have to face the consequences of the end of the world and learn about parallel universes.
The premiere of the third season is June 27.
The trailer for the detective series "Whirlpool" has been released
The trailer for the mini-series "Whirlpool" with Vladimir Vdovichenkov in the title role has appeared on the network. According to the creators, this is "a tense detective thriller in the spirit of True Detective."
According to the story, a group of investigators discovers murdered teenagers in the city sewer, whom no one has ever looked for. Spinning this case step by step, the police come face to face with absolute evil – the whirlpool of the big city, which sucks in and destroys the weak, those whom no one loves and does not wait at home. Evil destroys people with impunity, and each of the heroes will face it personally, look inside themselves to meet their own demons and fears.

In addition to him, Vladislav Abashin, Yulia Melnikova, Aristarkh Venes, Alena Mikhailova and others also starred in the series. The director of the project is Andrey Zagidullin, and the script was written by Andrey Stempkovsky. The project was created specifically for the Kinopoisk HD online cinema.

Premiere of Semyon Slepakov’s screenlife series "Cursed Days"
On June 11, the anthology series Cursed Days, filmed in the form of screenlife, started on the Premier video platform.
The script of the project was written by Semyon Slepakov in collaboration with Maxim Tukhanin (“House Arrest”), and among the actors are Fyodor Bondarchuk, Anna Mikhalkova, Pavel Derevyanko, Alexander Robak, Tatyana Dogileva, Yulia Topolnitskaya, Vladimir Epifantsev, Maria Mashkova and many others.
"Cursed Days" is 10 stories about life in quarantine and a new reality with remote work, self-isolation, the epidemiological situation and the world narrowed down to four walls. The range of topics ranges from betrayal and family problems to showdowns between oppositionists and officials and corruption.
They promise that it will be sharp and funny.
